Magic

Firstly, I would like to define 'magic' and according to Google, this is what it means 'The power of apparently influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces'.

Magic, to me, is completely different. Harry Potter, the fictional character which will always live in my heart, books and the big screen, does not only possess magic himself in our imagination as well as others, but the attachment one has to him and his fellow characters. He is no longer just a word on a page, but someone who has filled the gap that needed filling and will continue to do so.

One of the main quotes throughout the last book in the series is 'Always', just that simple word. But it defines everything about Harry Potter, that everything will always be there whether or not you forget about him.

Magic grows from a tiny thought, a minuscule idea, into a web of imagination and acceptance.

Acceptance plays a large part in magic, I believe. Without it, how would you let your heart into believing such wild things that you wouldn't dare to dream of, in fear of falling in love with it.

Traditional hat-trick magic has far more charm and wit to it. It plays tricks on the eyes and although one knows it cannot be true, there is always a slight bit of hope that remains convinced it is real magic. And of course it isn't real, but magic isn't completely out of the question.

Magic doesn't just exist as wands, spells and top hats with rabbits, it has its way with people as well. Not in the literal sense that magic can only happen between a certain number of people but it is between people. Like a silenced, secret and unconditional love. Not a bond, because they break, but feelings, past, present and future which continue to exist in one time frame or another. Future thoughts, and past memories.

But it will continue to be there, always.
